    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Location To gain maximum efficiency for your pool heat pump please follow all instructions when “positioning the unit”. It is also important to allow clearances for future service and maintenance procedures. The unit is designed for outdoor installation and should not be installed in a totally enclosed area such as a shed, garage, etc., unless assisted ventilation of the cold exhaust air is provided to ensure adequate air exchange for correct operation.

    Pool Heat Pump I pg 06 Installation Clearances Air is pulled through the evaporator coil and discharged through the top or front grill. Clearances must be allowed in front and around the unit for unrestricted air discharge and service access. See Figure 1 and Figure 2. Failure to comply to the set clearances may cause diminished unit performance and reduced unit longevity.

    Setting up WIFI and app 1. Install the Waterco Connect app In order to monitor and control your Electroheat unit, first download Waterco Connect on your phone or tablet. You can scan the QR code below to take you straight to the right app store.

    2. Pair your Electroheat to your app Make sure your Electroheat is powered on for at least 60 seconds before connecting to it from the app. Step one Open and sign in to Waterco Connect Step two Press ADD DEVICE to start the connection wizard.

You will need to locate the QR code sticker on the side of your Electroheat and scan it with your camera when the wizard tells you. You will also need to know your home Wi-Fi network name and password to complete the pairing.

    Please wait at least 60 seconds for the Electroheat to fully power up before running the pairing wizard. Make sure you are within a few meters of the unit when you run the wizard.
