The V14CX loudspeaker is recommended for all applications and offers clarity and control in a compact format. Tecnare V14CX is designed as a complete system with the T-Series class D amplifier or DP-4896 DSP controller. Tecnare only recommends using presets developed by Tecnare Sound System. -

Operation Manual Connections ® ® The V14CX loudspeaker utilizes Neutrik SpeakON connectors. There are two NLT4 ® connectors on the rear of each V14CX. These connectors made with Neutrik NL-4 or NL-4 compatible in-line cable connectors. All four pins of both connectors are wired in parallel to link multiple loudspeakers on a single amplifier output. -

Operation Manual Operation modes The V14CX may be switched between passive (full-range) mode and Bi-amped mode. It has a selector switch located in the rear recess on the connection panel. In the PASSIVE mode the V14CX is driven with a full-frequency range amplifier channel, and wire only the 1+ and 1- pins of the NL4 connectors. -

In certain specific cases it is possible to slightly under-power the subs or loudspeakers as long as the amplifier will not be driven to its limits. In any case, the Tecnare processors should be deployed in front of the amp to ensure that the amplifiers to not go into clip. -

Also, Tecnare PA Series two and four channel power amplifiers are recommended for use with V Series together with the DP4896 processors. These amplifiers work well at 4 ohms, making it possible to power two cabinets in parallel from each amplifier channel. -
