Additional measures Scope This section gives an overview of potential measures to increase the heat dissipation for Alvium G5/G5X cameras after heat sinks have been installed. Camera power Camera power by PoE increases the camera’s power consumption, resulting in more heat. Therefore, use external power by the I/O connector to reduce heating of the camera.
