    • We recommend the use of a shielded SSTP Ethernet cable. Overvoltage Protection The 2N device cables have to be protected against atmospheric overvoltage caused by external causes (lightning, e.g.). A surge can damage a device installed outside/inside the building if the wires are unprotec- ted.
