5. Assembly / Adaptations
5.1. Setting up the wheelchair
To unfold your wheelchair after unpacking, stand in front of the
wheelchair.
•
Grasp the armrest or seat tube on one side of the wheelchair with one

hand and tilt it towards you (Fig. 3).
•
With the other hand, push the cross brace apart until the seat tube is
fully seated in the plastic holder (Fig. 4).
•
The seat cushion must be fully spread out.
•
Operate the parking brakes on the right and left of the drive wheels.
•
Hang up the leg supports. (see chap. 5.4.)
•
Now you can sit down.

5.2. Folding of the wheelchair
To fold your wheelchair, first swing up the foot plates (Fig. 5).
•
Stand next to the wheelchair
•
Grasp the seat cushion at the front and rear and pull it up (Fig. 6).
To stow the wheelchair in a passenger car, you can easily remove the
rear wheels via the quick-release axle.

5.3. Foot plates
•
The lower leg length can be adjusted in five steps (Fig. 7).
•
To do this, loosen both hexagon socket screws, inside and outside.
•
Set the desired height.
•
Tighten both screws again.
•
Proceed in the same way on the other side.
5.4. Legrests
•
To make it as easy as possible for you to get in and out, you can fold
the foot plates upwards and swing the leg supports outwards or
remove them completely.
•
To swing the legrest outwards, open the lock (Fig. 8).
•
In the „outside position" the legrest can be completely removed (Fig.
9, Fig. 10).
•
To assemble the legrest, proceed in reverse order.
•
Swing the legrest forward again until you hear it click into place.
5.4.1. Horizontal adjustable legrests
(optional)
Assembly, disassembly and swivelling down are carried out in the
same way as for the standard leg supports.
To adjust, loosen the clamping lever, then adjust the legrest to the
desired length and tighten the clamping lever.
The horizontal adjustment works as follows:
•
Push the locking lever forward.
•
By raising or lowering the footplate support tube, bring the legrest
into the desired position.
•
Release the locking lever; the legrest locks automatically.
