Guarantee

For users in the U.K., see page 53.
The guarantee certificate delivered with your DVD player includes the production type and number of your
set. Keep this certificate with the invoice. They are mandatory, should a claim be made during the garantee
period in case of failure.
• All repairs during the guarantee period should be undertaken by an authorised technician representing our brand.
• Any failure to observe this rule shall lead to the cancellation of your guarantee rights.

DVD copy protection

In accordance with the DVD standard, your DVD player is equipped with a Copy Protection Device, which can
be triggered on and off by the DVD disc itself, in order to make any recording of the concerned DVD disc onto
a videotape of very poor picture quality, or even impossible. « This product incorporates copyright protection
technology that is protected by method claims of certain U.S. patents and other intellectual property rights owned
by Macrovision Corporation and other rights owners. Use of this copyright protection technology must be
authorized by Macrovision Corporation, and is intended for home use only unless otherwise authorized by
Macrovision Corporation. Reverse engineering or disassembly is prohibited ».
