Display Brightness

• When using the

If a disc is playing press STOP. Then call the main
menu with the menu key.

Select "Display Options" ; press key number 7.

Select "Display Brightness" ; press key number 4.

a If you want the player's display to be always
illuminated brightly select "Bright" with the
arrows.

b If you want the player's display to be always
illuminated not so brightly select "Dim" with the
arrows.

c If you want the player's display be illuminated not
so brightly during DVD or video CD playback
select "Auto Dim" with the

To exit main menu, press return twice.
Black level adjustment

Select "Black level adjustment" ;
press key number 5.

Make your selection with the
Films are made originally to be watched in a very
dark environment (e.g. : movies theaters). When
watching them at home, some scenes may be too
dark for some details.
If you want to improve the contrast, select "light".
On the contrary select "normal".
