Access to a scene

During playback skip to next or previous chapter /
track with the

track (twice for the previous).

track/chapter ; press as many times as the number of required
track/chapter skips.

Picture / track scan

A) on the remote control :
Start fast reverse or advance
using REV or FWD keys.
B) on the main unit :
• During playback, press and hold "SKIP/SEARCH" buttons to reverse ( I
or forward (F I ).
• Each subsequent "press and hold" increases the speed (up to 4).
• Turn the shuttle dial during play (4 speed)
• Normal play is resumed when the shuttle dial is released.
• While in search mode on DVD or video CD, no sound will be heard,
except in (2x), if proper selection has been made (page 36).

Markers

The player can memorise up to 3 locations on the disc, as long
as the disc remains loaded.
You can immediately return to any of these 3 marker positions.
This function operates only with discs for which the elapsed
time appears on the player's display during playback.

During play press marker key on the top left hand side
of the remote control. The marker display appears on-
screen.

Select one of the 3 marker fields with the

Place the marker, press ok as soon as you see the
wanted scene. A number now appears in that
marker field.
• "•" indicates : no marker has been recorded yet.

To play a marked scene

Select one of the numbered marker fields using
arrows.

Press PLAY, playback starts from the marked point.
• To erase a marker press CLEAR button.
• Some subtitles around the marked point may fail to appear.

Exit the display with the marker key.
