If the WLAN antenna is not connected to the terminal on the WLAN module, install a protective
sleeve on the antenna connector, as shown in the following illustration.
To install the WLAN module, reverse this procedure.

To remove the WWAN module, use this procedure and illustration.

Disconnect the WWAN antenna cables from the terminals (1) on the WWAN module. The number of
antenna cables can vary.

Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.5 screw (2), and then remove the WWAN module (3).
Inspect any thermal pads and if a thermal pad is torn, missing part of the pad, or dirty, replace the
thermal pad.
