Remove the bottom cover

Remove the battery:
1.
Remove the six Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (1) that secure the battery to the computer.
2.
Rotate the bottom of the battery upward, and then remove it from the computer (2).
To replace the battery, reverse the removal procedures.
