Description
Fan (includes cable)
Before removing the fan, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see
Remove the fan:
1.
Disconnect the fan cable (1) from the system board.
2.
Release the display tuner cable from the retention clips (2) that are built into the fan.
3.
Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (3) that secure the fan to the system board.
4.
Remove the fan (4) from the system board.
To replace the fan, reverse the removal procedures.
