Replacing the Audio Arm

Before you begin servicing your Cintel Audio and KeyKode Reader, refer to the illustration
below to familiarise yourself with the parts of the magnetic head sub assembly.

Mag Head Arm Sub Assembly

Shoulder screw M3.

A1 and A2 azimuth screws for
perpendicular adjustment.

Disc spring retaining ring.

Disc springs.

Mag arm shims.

Mag head arm spring.
Once you are familiar with the components of the Audio and KeyKode Reader and have all the
necessary tools prepared, you can begin the process of replacing the audio arm.
Remove the Backplate From the Reader

To access the rear of the main PCB you will need to remove the rear cover. Using a T10
driver, unscrew the six countersunk M3 Torx screws and remove the cover.
