To reset the runtime:
1 In the 'device information' section of the 'setup' tab, click 'Reset'.
2 You will be prompted to confirm your choice. To confirm your selection, click 'Reset'.
The magnetic head runtime counter will be reset to 0 minutes.

Verifying Head Alignment

Correct alignment of the magnetic head is essential for high quality audio recording and to
minimize uneven wear on the magnetic head.
NOTE The supplied head sub assembly is pre aligned and factory calibrated. Only a
few minor adjustment are anticipated in the possibility that the mag head has become
misaligned during installation.
Use DaVinci Resolve to capture suitable optical and magnetic audio files for comparison to your
original datum files. We recommend using the following reference films for testing the response
of your updated magnetic head:
‚ S16mm Bezugs BF16-10A DIN 15638 25fps multi frequency magnetic test film.
‚ S16mm SepMag film.
‚ S16mm leader. White.
‚ S16mm ComOpt SMPTE P16MF multi frequency.
‚ S35mm ComOpt SMPTE P35MF multi frequency.
‚ A suitable customer reference Combined Magnetic Film, or CoMAG, and Combined Optical,
or ComOpt, Films.
