4.3 Switchgear typical compartments

4.3.1. Low voltage compartment
The low voltage compartment
the standard low voltage equipment:
terminal boards and cables (in special ducts);
measurement
instruments,
signalling and operating devices on the low voltage
compartment door;
cable outgoing passage for interconnecting the
cubicle panels;
circuit-breaker nameplate
voltage presence indicating system (ENA version
only; in IEC version it is fitted on front label of the
panel).
A wiring duct
(Figure 26)
between the various units and external apparatus is
installed on the side of the low voltage cubicle.
4.3.2. Busbar compartment
The busbar compartment contains the three -position
disconnector
and
the
system, which allows electrical connections among the
compartments of the switchgear.
The main busbars are fixed to the branch connectors
(Figure 27)
of the upper fixed contacts of the three
position disconnector.

The controls of the circuit -breaker, three-position
disconnector and the voltage presence indicating
system are fitted on the front of the compartment. The
rear, in the IEC version, is closed with a removable
cover
(Figure
