4. Panel design and equipment

4.1 Switchgear construction features

UniGear 500R is a medium voltage switchgear for
indoor applications with metal enclosure. Each cubicle
is divided into the following segregated compartments
(Figure 23)(Figure
24):
A: Low voltage compartment
B: Busbar compartment
C: Circuit-breaker and cable compartment
D: Gas duct channel
According to IEC 62271-200 Standard, the switchgear
is classified LSC2-PM.
In IEC version, the switchgear is provided with a
pressure
relief
duct,
switchgear (see par. 4.3.4.). The cubicles are all
factory-wired. Installation only requires external power
and auxiliary connections and the wiring between the
various sections.
The switchgear features a single busbar system and
one circuit-breaker compartment per cubicle. Each
circuit-breaker
compartment
removable circuit-breaker.

parts can be performed either from the switchgear
front or rear (only when switchgear is deenergised).
Note:
To enable effectiv e relief of internal arc gasses, the
switchgear must be mounted at a minimum distance of
