Erasing an item from the Directory
Make sure the unit is in the standby mode.
1 Press CH or EDIT (P) to enter
the directory list.
2 Press (+) or (4).
eThe first item is displayed.
3 Press (+) or (4) repeatedly to find Helen
the directory item you want to erase. 1234567890
oTo search for the item by initial, see
page 38.
4 Press (HOLD/CLEAR).
eTo stop erasing, press CH (No
key).
5 Press EDIT (È) (Yes key) or
(HOLD/CLEAR). Clear
oA beep sounds.
oTo erase other items, repeat from
step 3.
oTo return to the standby mode, press
(OFF).
o You can exit the directory list any time by pressing (OFF).
