Editing an Item in the Directory
Make sure the unit is in the standby mode.

Press CH (4) or EDIT (>) to enter the
directory list.
Press (y) or (4).
©The first item is displayed.
Press (v) or (a) repeatedly to find the
directory item you want to change, and
press EDIT (>).
oTo search for the item by initial, see
page 38.
eif you do not need to change the name,
go to step 5.

5 Press (7) (Next key).

Add a number to the current number.
elf you do not need to change the number,
press (y) (Next key) and go to step 8. 4b V=Next
eEach time you press (HOLD/CLEAR), a
character is erased from the right. To erase all
of the digits, press and hold (HOLD/CLEAR J .
T Press (y) (Next key).
