The address code for Midea V8 VRF Series machines can be set to any integer within a specific range, depending on the unit's capacity. The minimum address codes are:
- 14≤HP<28: Any integer from 0 to 59 - 28≤HP<36: Any integer from 0 to 58 - 36≤HP<40: Any integer from 0 to 56 - HP>40: Any integer from 0 to 56
The address code is denoted by X, and adjacent addresses are X+1, X+2, X+3, etc.

V8 VRF Indoor Units 2.3 Function Descriptions 2.3.1 Power failure memory function The power failure memory function can be used to ensure that, in the event of a power outage, the indoor units, which was in operation before, automatically restart once the power returns. When the power returns following a power outage, units with Power failure memory function enabled restart with the same operating mode, fan speed and remote control lock status settings as before the power outage.

V8 VRF Indoor Units 4 Control 4.1 Temperature Compensation Control Because of the installation position of Indoor Unit and different layout, indoor temperature detected by Indoor Unit may not consist with actual temperature. Indoor temperature could be compensated by controller (The parameter code is”N25” “N26”) 4.2 EXV Control When the IDU is powered on again or the ODU is stopped, the system automatically enters initialization mode.
