ICE-MAKING SYSTEM CLEANING
4. Once all the water has drained, return the rub-
ber tube to the upright position. (see below figure)
5. Pour the citric acid solution into the interior
water tank to fill it to 3/4. (see below figure)
6. Press button and hold for 10 seconds,
the unit will beep 3 times and begin to run the
Automatic Clean Mode. All the lights will flash and
after 3 minutes the pump will start running. Allow
30 minutes for proper cleaning of the pipe and ice
maker. The ice maker will return to standby mode
once it has finished the cleaning cycle.
NOTE: Severe scale buildup may require repeated
cleaning with a fresh quantity of citric acid solution
or approved limescale cleanser.
7. Repeat step 3 & 4 to drain off the waste water,
and turn on the water line until the interior water
tank is full. Once the tank is full turn off the water
line to repeat step 6 to rinse the ice making
system(without citric acid solution or approved
limescale cleanser).
8. Turn on the water inlet valve, press
to return to the regular ice making mode. Discard
the first batch of ice.
