RECORDING
To Stop Copying
Note on High-Speed Copy
When performing high-speed copy, an interference beep might be
recorded if there is a TV nearby. In this case, use normal-speed copy
or turn the TV power off.
TIMER RECORDING
(Using only deck I)
(Unattended recording from a tuner, etc.)
1. Insert a blank tape into deck Hl.
Timer recording always begins from the forward direction.

Set DOLBY NR switch (0)
3. Set REV MODE selector (1.
4.
Press the recording { @) button @),

Prepare the program source.
Set the amplifier input selector to tuner, and tune in the desired
broadcasting station.

Adjust the recording level.
(See page 11.)
7.
Set the audio timer.
Power of all components will go off.
8. Set TIMER mode selector (1) to REC.
At the preset time, power will be turned on and recording will
start automatically.
@ Timer recording will not work if the tape deck is loaded with
a cassette whose
erasure prevention tabs are removed.
@ Operation of audio timers differs depending on the model, so
consult the instruction manual of your unit.
TIMER PLAYBACK
(Wake-up playback)
1.
Insert the recorded tape.
Timer playback always begins from the forward direction.
Set DOLBY NR switch (0.
3. Set REV MODE selector (1).

Set the stereo amplifier for tape playback.
Adjust the volume level for wake-up playback.
{Check it by actually playing back the tape.)
5.
Set the audio timer.
Power of all components
will go off.
6. Set TIMER mode selector (1) to PLAY.
At the preset time, power will be turned on and playback wilt
start automatically.
