Connect the cables attached to the lightning protectors to the antenna connectors (Reverse
Polarity SMA plugs) at the top of the AP3620 using the right‐angle SMA connectors on the
loose cable ends. Maintain the same right‐to‐left correspondence of the AP's connectors with
the lightning protectors.

Connect the Ethernet cable attached to the OUT port on the top of the PoE injector to the LAN
port on the bottom of the AP.

Mount the AP3620 on the wall mount bracket.

b. Slide the AP down until the securing spring clip holds it in place.

This completes the procedure to prepare the AP3620 and enclosure for external installation.

Location of Antenna Connectors on AP3620
Caution: If you are not using three external antennas, do not connect the cable attached to an
unused lightning protector to any of the antenna connectors on the AP3620. You must attach a
terminator cap to any unused connectors on the top of the AP.
Location of Ports on AP3620
Press the back of the AP onto the bracket, aligning it with the open notches on the bracket.
Using a screw driver, insert the plastic rivet through the hole at the bottom of the bracket
and into the AP case. This locks the case to the bracket.
