Disassembly:
1) Remove covers A to C.
2) Remove cable tie (10).
3) Disconnect plugs (11, 19, 20, 21) from S-print (12).
4) Remove screws (22, 26).
5) Move X-carriage (23) to right buffer.
6) Remove screws (24, 27).
Caution: Don't lose the u-disks under the print at the screws
(24).
7) Remove base metal sheet (28).
8) Move X-carriage (23) 3 cm short of left buffer.
9) Move S-print to the right, stopping just short of the cog-
wheels.
10) Pull S-print forward on the right between base metal
sheet (28) and carriage (68).
11) Lift belt slightly to stop the S-print from getting caught
on the heat sink, then pull S-print out completely.
Caution: At the same time, ensure that the light barrier (66)
does not get caught on the belt holder (23) or the light
barrier lug (67).

Assembly:
1) Move X-carriage (23) 3 cm short of left buffer.
2) Slide S-print (12) back in on the left between base metal
sheet (28) and carriage (68) so that the light barrier (66)
does not get caught on the belt holder (23) or the light
barrier lug (67).
3) Lift belt slightly to stop the S-print from getting caught on
the heat sink, then slide S-print in completely on the
right.
4) Refit base metal sheet (28) in cover.
5) Move X-carriage (23) to right buffer.
6) Fasten S-print with screws (24).
Caution: Don't forget the u-disks under the print at the scr-
ews (24).
7) Fasten base metal sheet (28) with screws (27).
8) Move X-carriage (23) to left buffer.
9) Fasten S-print with screw (22).
10) Fasten base metal sheet (28) with screws (26).
11) Reconnect plugs (11, 19, 20, 21) to S-print (12).
12) Refit cable tie (10).
13) Refit C to A covers.
14) Attach and connect embroidery module to sewing com-
puter.
15) Check functioning in service program no. 6.
16) Open test samples in service program no. 6i, and embro-
ider them.
17) Compare embroidery results with table on page 44.
