The results of the last power-up or reset self-test appear in the middle column of
the System and Test Status screen.

Message What Message Indicates
CPU Failed The CPU failed internal testing.
Device One or more of the Unit's integrated
Failed circuit chips failed device-level
testing.
G.703 The Unit failed to loop data on the

Memory The Model 7976 Standalone
Failed Termination Unit failed memory
verification.
FPGA A failure in the FPGA was detected.
Failed, Pt1
DataPath The unit failed to loop data between
Failed, Pt1 the G.703 Port and the DSL loop.
Failure An internal failure occurred.
xxxxxxxx (xxxxxxxx represents an eight-digit
hexadecimal failure code for use by
service personnel.)
Passed No errors were detected.
