If there is a water shortage the device will stop the pump and
protect it against dry running (red Failure LED blinking).
Once the cause of the failure has been resolved press the
Restart button to restore operation.
8. RESTART PRESSURE VALUES
The pressure generated by the pump and the height of the
water column of the system that weighs on the device must be
checked in relation to the start-up pressure of the device itself.
- The nominal restart pressure value is indicated on the rear
part of the device (Fig. 1/a)
- The nominal restart pressure is 22 psi (1.5 bar). Fixed
standard calibration. (Fig. 2)
- The pump pressure must be a minimum of 42 psi (3 bar).
- The water column between the device and the highest tap
must not exceed 50 feet.
- The nominal restart pressure is 32 psi (2.2 bar). Calibration
fixed on request. (Fig. 3)
- The pump pressure must be a minimum of 55 psi (3.5 bar).
- The water column between the device and the highest tap
must not exceed 70 feet.
- The nominal restart pressure is 42 psi (3 bar). Calibration
fixed on request. (Fig. 4)
- The pump pressure must be a minimum of 70 psi (4.5 bar).
- The water column between the device and the highest tap
must not exceed 90 feet.
Nominal restart pressures of 17 psi (1.2 bar) and 58 psi (4 bar)
are also available on request.
The pump stops if the generated pressure fails to reach the
values indicated above.
The pump starts but fails to restart if the height of the water
column exceeds the values indicated above.
AUTOMATIC RESTART AND OPERATIONAL TEST
In case of stopping due to a water shortage, the device will
automatically make 10 double attempts to restart over the
24 hours following the failure, each lasting approximately 5
seconds to allow the pump and the system to reload if possible.
After the last failed restart attempt, the device will remain
permanently in alarm (red Failure LED blinking) pending a
manual reset by pressing the "Restart" button.
The user can always try to reset and restart the device at any
time by pressing the Restart button.
If for any reason the pump remains inactive for 24 consecutive
hours, the device will carry out a start-up of the pump motor for
about 5 seconds.
In case of a temporary blackout, the device will automatically
reset once the electricity returns.

9. MAINTENANCE

The device is maintenance-free. In the case of system
maintenance, review and understand the following safety
warnings and product instructions before performing any
service.
WARNING: Before disconnecting the pump, be sure that
fuse box leads are disconnected, or power is turned
off. After reassembling the pump, refer to priming
instructions before running.
WARNING: Hazardous voltage can shock, burn, or cause
death. Disconnect power to pump before servicing the
unit.
10. DRAINING
NOTICE: Disconnecting the pump will not necessarily drain all
other parts of the piping system. If there are any concerns with
the proper procedure or the necessity of draining the suction
plumbing, contact a water system professional.
All piping and water tanks exposed to freezing weather
should be drained. If there are any concerns with the proper
procedure to drain the system's pressure tank, contact the tank
manufacturer for assistance.
HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE
Ground the device before
connecting to the power supply.
Disconnect power before working
on the device, pump, or motor.
HAZARDOUS PRESSURE
Discharge the system before
disassembling the device.
