[KR Screen Designer] Instruction Manual 3 How to Setup 3-1 Installation 3-1-1 New Installation Install the software from the CD-ROM to a PC before use. Perform following procedures for installation. <Procedures> (1) Insert the CD-ROM. Start Windows, and then insert the CD-ROM into a CD-ROM drive. The menu screen is started automatically.

[KR Screen Designer] Instruction Manual (4) Click [Next] button. [KR Screen Designer Setup Wizard] screen is started. Click [Next] button. (5) Select the Installation Folder. Select installation destination folder. Normally, click [Next] button as it is, yet if you wish to specify the folder destination, click [Browse…] button to select user.
[KR Screen Designer] Instruction Manual (7) Installation Start. The installation is started. Progress bar that indicates installation appears. Wait until the installation is completed. (8) Installation Complete. [Installation Complete] screen appears. Click [Close] button to finish. When the installation is completed, [KR ScreenDesigner] short-cut is placed on the desktop.
[KR Screen Designer] Instruction Manual 3-2 Uninstallation This section describes how to delete the software from the hard disk. Before starting the uninstallation, exit from all the programs related to this software. <Procedures> (1) Open the Control Panel. Click in following order [Start] → [Control Panel].

Windows Explorer. The location of the folder is shown in the table below. C:¥Users¥[Name of the User]¥AppData¥Roaming¥CHINO¥KR ScreenDesigner AppData is a hidden folder. Hidden folder is usually set not to be displayed. Refer to the user's manual of your computer to display hidden folder or directory enter the pathname to a title bar of the folder.
[KR Screen Designer] Instruction Manual 4 Startup and Exit of the Software 4-1 Startup This section describes how to startup the software. <Procedures> Double click an icon on the desktop. Do not update the Windows while the KR Screen Designer is running. Note Depending on the PC, Warning Screen may appear while starting up the software.

This list of files is screen layouts included in open project. <Project management and operation of the list of editor files> For the list of the editor files (1) Double click Switch to a target editor tab.

Detail Set channel number. Only the numerical values can be input. Specified channel range is 1 to 44 for KR2000 and KR2S and 1 to 128 for Channel No. KR3000 and KR3S. If non- existent channel number besides 1 to 44 is specified on KR2000 or KR2S, data display becomes [*****] and border action becomes invalid.

Also, in the case of font size 37, it is only available on alphanumeric character, Hiragana, and Katakana. Font size 20 of the text tool and font size 28 of the KR2000 can not be used. If screen layout is created for KR3000, and KR2S/KR3S screen size and later changing for the screen size of KR2000, pay attention to the font size.
