Troubleshooting (cont.)
If Device has a Weak or No Sound
▪ Trapped moisture may be distorting the sound. Consider using a hearing aid dehumidifier overnight.
▪ Make sure the device is on.
▪ Make sure the device is charged. If unsure, place the device(s) on the charger base and wait for the
battery indicator to confirm that the device(s) has been charged. Turn the device(s) back on.
▪ Remove tubing (See Page 32), and increase volume to max volume. If you hear feedback, the Helix is
working properly. Clean the sound tube and attach it back on the device(s).
▪ Clean ear canal. Replace tubing/dome if they appear worn.
If Sound is Distorted or Intermittent
▪ Excess moisture may be distorting the sound. Using a hearing aid dehumidifier overnight is advised.
▪ Lower the volume on your device.
▪ Turn Helix off. Charge until light turns solid green and turn Helix back on.
▪ Remove sound tube from Helix body, and increase volume level to max volume. If you hear feedback,
your device is working properly. Clean the sound tube. (See Page 32).
▪ Replace the tubing/dome if they appear worn.
▪ For optimal performance, tubing and domes should be replaced every three months.
▪ Clean the ear canal.
