installing your
Polaris
RANGER
amplifier
installation kit. This kit is
desigend
to work in
conjuction with
Rockford's
other RANGER specific audio kits and
part
s.
If
you
feel
unsure about
installing
this
system
yourself,
have it
installed
by
a
qualified
technician.
When
drilling holes,
make sure
what is
on
the
other side.
Be
sure
that
any electrical,
fuel
lines
or
any
other important
components are free
and clear
from the
area.

battery
negative(-)
terminal to prevent
damage
to

e
unit,
fire and/or
possible
injury.
Before beginning any
installation,
follow
these simple
rules:

Installation
Applicable Models:
Full Size Polaris RANGER 900/1000/900 Crew/1000 Crew
This
amplifier
installation kit
is
designed to work with Rockford
Fosgate's
RAN
GER specific
enclosu
res and
dash
kits.
The amp kit can be
installed
in
bot
h
Crew and
non-crew
models under
the
dash above
the
steering
colu
m
n.
Step
1.
Remove t
he
top
dash
panel.
Step
2.
Loosen
the
(2)
nuts
on
the
steering
column
support using
a
15
m
m
wrench and socket.
NOTE: You
do not need
to
completely
remove
the
nuts.
Step 3.
To mou
nt
the bracket,
li
ne
up the (2)
notches
on
the bracket
and
slide
t
hem
over
t
he
bolts
that
were
just
loosened.
The
tab
faces
towa
rd
outside
of
t
he
vehicle.
Step
4.
Plug
the
input,
ou
tput
and
power/grou nd
harnesses
into
the
am
plifier
before
attaching
to
the
bracket.
Step 5.
Mount
the
amplifier
to
the
bracket using the
(2) su
pplied
screws.
Step
6.
Connect
th
e
power and
ground
to the
battery
terminals.
Step
7.
Connect
input
connector(s)
from
th
e
radio.
