TIMER SETTING
PROGRAMACION DEL TEMPORIZADOR

To check the timer program
1 Press the CLOCK/TIMER button so that the
ONCE] or [EVERY] indicator appears.
2 Press the CLOCK/TIMER button repeatedly.
To change a program in the timer standby
mode
1 Press the CLOCK/TIMER button so that the

2 Press the STANDBY button or the TIMER
STANDBY button on the remote controller so
that the © indicator disappears.
3 Press the SET button until the item tobe changed
blinks and change it by pressing the V or A
button.
4 Set the items to be followed again.
The "e" mark beside the IEVERY] or |ONCE
indicator
It shows the timer mode which is going to be used
next.
To cancel the timer standby mode
1 Press the CLOCK/TIMER button to display the
[ONCE ]or[EVERY] timer mode to be canceled.
2 Press the STANDBY button or the TIMER
STANDBY button on the remote controller so
that the © indicator disappears.
To restore the canceled timer program, press the
STANDBY button so that the © indicator is
displayed.
When the on-time is reached
The timer mode indicator blinks.
To play tapes continuously from deck 1 to
deck 2
Insert tapes into both decks and set the reverse
mode to.
Notes
¢ When the timer is engaged, the FM mode,
stereo or monaural, is selected according to the
preset condition.
* The timer does not work if the © indicator is not
displayed.
e If the on-time is reached while a CD synchro
recording is being made, the function cannot be
changed. During any other operation, the
function changes at the preset time even while
recording, but when the off-time is reached, the
system turns off.
¢ To use the timer function on the DAT player,
use the AIWA XD-S260.

TIMER.
Para cambiar un programa en el modo de
espera de activacién del temporizador
1 Presione el botén CLOCK/TIMER de forma
que aparezca el indicador [ONCE] o [EVERYI.
2 Presione el bot6n STANDBY, o el botén TIMER
STANDBY del controlador remoto, de forma
que desaparezca el indicador ©.
3 Presione el botén SET hasta que parpadee el
ftem que desee cambiar, y después cambielo
con el botén V oA.
4 Vuelva a ajustar los ftemes siguientes.
Significado de la marca "e" al lado del
indicador u
Esta marca indicara el modo de temporizador que
va a utilizarse a continuaci6n.
Para cancelar el modo de espera de activacion
del temporizador
1 Presione el bot6n CLOCK/TIMER de forma que
aparezca el indicador [ONCE] o [EVERY].
2 Presione el botén STANDBY, o el bot6n TIMER
STANDBY del! controlador remoto, de forma
que desaparezca el indicador ©.
Para restablecer el programa del temporizador
cancelado, presione el bot6n STANDBY de forma
que se visualice el indicador ©.
Cuando llegue la hora de activacién
El indicador de modo del temporizador
parpadeara.
Para reproducir continuamente las cintas del
deck 1 al deck 2
Inserte casetes en ambos decks y ajuste el modo
de inversion aD.
Notas
e Cuando el temporizador se ponga en
funcionamiento, el modo de FM, estéreo o
monoaural, se seleccionara de acuerdo con el
memorizado con la emisora.
e El temporizador no funcionara si no esta
visualizado el indicador ©.
e Si llega la hora de activacién mientras esté
realizandose la grabacién sincronizada de un
disco compacto, la funcién no podra cambiarse.
Durante cualquier otra operacién, la funcién
cambiardé ala hora programada; incluso durante
la grabacién, pero cuando llegue la hora de
desactivacion, la alimentacién del sistema se
desconectara.
Para utilizar la funcion del temporizador, conun
deck de cinta audiodigital, utilice 6 AIWA
XD-S260.
