Tape types
Normal (type I), CrOz (type IT) or Metal (type IV)
tapes can be used. 2
The tape type is recognized and equalization is
changed automatically when a tape is inserted.
When listening to a tape recorded with Dolby
NR
To play a tape recorded using Dolby NR:
Press the DOLBY NR button to activate the
Dolby NR system. The indicator lights.
To play a tape recorded without Dolby NR:
Press the DOLBY NR button to turn off the
indicator.
To select the reverse mode (deck 2 only)
Press the REVERSE MODE button repeatedly
until the desired indicator is turned on,
To play one side only:
Turn on the .— indicator.
To play both sides one time only:
Turn on the => indicator.
To play both sides repeatedly:
Turn on C23 indicator.
On deck 1, both sides are played once.
To wind quickly
In the stop mode
Press the <#4/MS or MS/®P button and then
press the & STOP button to stop winding.
During playback
Hold the <<@/MS or MS/> button down. The
tape is wound with a chattering. sound and
playback resumes when the button is released.
When both decks 1 and 2 are in the playback
mode
The sound from deck 2 is heard.
When playback starts on the reverse side
On deck 1, the tape always stops when the
reverse side is played once.
On deck 2, the tape stops when the reverse side
is played once if 2D or .— is selected, or 8 times
if CD is selected.
Note
Noise may be heard if a television set is on. In this
case, turn off the television or move the television
away from the system.
Tipos de cintas
Podran utilizarse cintas de tipo normal (tipo J),
Cr (tipo TI); o de metai (tipo TV).
El tipo de cinta se detectara y la ecualizacién se

Paraescuchar una cinta grabadaconelsistema
de reducci6n de ruido Dolby
Para reproducir una cinta grabada con el sistema
de reduccién de ruido Dolby:
Presione el botén DOLBY NR para activar el
sistema de reduccion de ruido (NR) Dolby. El
indicador se encendera.
Para reproducir una cinta grabada sin el sistema
de reduccion de ruido Dolby:
Presione el bot6n DOLBY NR de forma que se
apague el indicador.
Para seleccionar el modo de inversion (deck 2
solamente)
Presione repetidamente el bot6n REVERSE
MODE hasta que se encienda el indicador de
modo deseado.
Para reproducir una cara solamente:
Haga que se encienda el indicador 2.
Para reproducir ambas caras una sola vez:
Haga que se encienda el indicador .
Para reproducir repetidamente ambas caras:
Haga que se encienda el indicador CD.
En el deck 1 las dos caras del casete se
reproduciran una vez.
Para bobinar rapidamente la cinta
En el modo de parada
Presione el botén <4<4/MS 0 MS/ y después
el bot6én @ ~STOP a fin de parar el bobinado.
Durante !a reproduccién
Mantenga presionado el bot6én <4<4@/MS o MS/
bP. La cinta se bobinara con un sonido de
murmullo y, cuando suelte el botén, se
reanudara la reproduccion.
Si pone ambos decks, 1 y 2, en el modo de
reproducci6n
Se oira el sonido procedente del deck 2.
Siinicialareproduccion desde la cara posterior
Enel deck 1, lacinta se parara siempre cuando se
haya reproducido una vez la cara posterior.
Eneldeck 2, sihaseleccionado — o=— se parara
cuando se haya reproducido una vez la cara
posterior o, si ha seleccionado CD, se parara 8
veces.
Nota
Es posible que se oiga ruido si hay un televisor
encendido. En tal caso apague el televisor o -
separelo de este sistema.
