    Adjusting the brake is possible. The brake can be re-adjusted. The brake lining has to be replaced, if the thickness of the brake lining falls below a limit value (see the operating instructions of the brake YLZK4600 in the chapter "Operating instructions brake"). ZIEHL-ABEGG recommends replacing both brake linings at the same time.

    Enclosure TÜV statement on calculation of positive locking connection The elevator machines ZAsyn2 SM500 are constructed with no shaft with a brake that acts on the driving disk in the immediate vicinity. Thus, there are no variations from EN 81-20:2014, section 5.6.6.4 and section 5.6.7.4, as the brake acts directly on the driving disk due to the positive locking connection of the driving disk and rotor.
