5.1.4 REASSEMBLE

Reposition the back protector by placing the alu
cap through the hole provided.
» Fasten the zips of the shell and close them
halfway.
» After having checked that the seal is in place
in the alu cap, reinstall the inflator. For the
detailed procedure please refer to the section

4.6 "Install a new inflator" of this manual.
» Once the inflator is in place in its housing,
close the zip completely around the shell.
WARNING: make sure to position the inflator
as shown in the picture below:
» Check the normal functioning of your airbag
product.

5.2 Washing with a water jet

5.2.1 PREPARE

» Remove the In&box from the airbag product.
» Open the zip on the back of the product and
unplug the inflator connector.
WARNING: to avoid damage, do not force the
connector and do not pull on the cable to
remove the inflator. Be careful not to lose the
seal in the aluminium cap.

4.4 "Remove the inflator" of this manual.
» Unscrew the inflator.
» Remove the back protector.
» Clip the inflator on the back protector to avoid
the inflator falling or being misplaced.
WARNING: never attempt to remove the cushion
or pull the aluminium cap.

5.2.2 WASH

WARNING: never leave the In&box in its housing
during washing.
WARNING: the total washing time should not
exceed 10 minutes to limit water penetration
into the airbag cushion.
» Remove the In&box from its housing. Make sure
that the zip around the shell is fully closed.
» Hang your airbag product on a hanger to keep
it upright.
» Rince your airbag product with cold and clear
water respecting a minimum distance of 1
metre (39 in). You can for example wash it off
with a shower head or garden hose.
