4 After inflation

WARNING: do not touch the connector at the
bottom of the inflator (blue or black piece
depending on the inflator). Do not connect the
inflator to the connector before it is screwed
into the airbag.
If you have an IMI 2368 inflator
❶ New IMI 2368 inflator
❷ Inflation adapter
❸ Alu cap (aluminium part surrounded by an
elastic band into which the inflator is screwed)
❹ Seal
❺ Used IMI 2368 inflator
❻ Inflator connector with black tabs
❼ Tool

4.1 Replace the inflator

Warning: an inflator is for single use. After an
inflation, it cannot be refilled and must be
changed.
Warning: Only inflators provided by IN&MOTION
(references: IMI 2368 or IMI 7112) are certified
and ensure the correct functioning of the
IN&MOTION airbag system. Do not use any other
references.
WARNING: There are two inflator references
depending on your airbag product: IMI 2368

Please follow the after-inflation process carefully.
Before starting, here is a summary of the
equipment needed to perform the after-inflation
process correctly:
If you have an IMI 7112 inflator
❶ New IMI 7112 inflator
❷ Inflation adapter
❸ Alu cap (aluminium part surrounded by an
elastic band into which the inflator is screwed)
❹ Seal
❺ Used IMI 7112 inflator
❻ Inflator connector with black ring
and IMI 7112. The inflator reference present in
your product can only be replaced by the same
reference.
To find which inflator reference is compatible with
your airbag system, please refer to section
Inflator above.
The inflator reference compatible with your airbag
system is also indicated on the inflator label and
on the inflator connector label.
