» While the airbag is inflated, check the integrity
of the fabrics and seams.
» If the airbag does not inflate, or deflates qui-
ckly, do not use the airbag product and contact
your local reseller.
» If everything is correct, unscrew the adaptor
and push all the air out of the airbag cushion
(e.g. by pressing the product flat on a table).

4.6 Install a new inflator

WARNING: do not touch the connector at the
bottom of the inflator (blue or black piece
depending on the inflator). Do not connect the
Inflator to the connector before it is screwed
into the airbag.
WARNING: before carrying out the following
steps, make sure to release all the air from
the cushion
❶ Screw the new inflator tightly by hand.
❷ Plug the connector back in. Check that it is
properly clipped all the way in.

Clip the inflator in its housing.

❸ Using a pump
or a compressor,
inflate the airbag
to 0.3 bar (5 psi)
and check that it
remains inflated
for 5 seconds.
❹ Check that the inflator is correctly positioned,
fully seated in its housing.
The alu cap must be against the wedge.

❺ Close the zip.
❻ To check that
the inflator is
new and properly
connected, insert
the switched-on
In&box into its
housing.
The inflator LED
(at the top left)
should switch to
green.
