Soft chest protectors

Soft chest protectors can be worn with the
IN&MOTION airbag system under the following
conditions:
» The size of the airbag product must be adapted
to the extra thickness provided if the protec-
tion is worn under the airbag product.
» The user must wear a compatible motorcycle
jacket (please refer to section
compatibility" above). This means that the
chest measurement must be done with the
protector.

Rigid protectors

Rigid protections (e.g. armour, stone guards,
protective vest, etc.) are not compatible with the
IN&MOTION airbag system.

Additional back protectors

IN&MOTION airbag systems already contain
an integrated back protector, additional back
protectors are not compatible.

Neck brace

The airbag system is not compatible with a neck
brace. Never wear a neck brace when wearing the
airbag system.

Passenger safety harness

The product is not compatible with passenger
safety harnesses.

3.3.1 "Jackets

3.4 Limits of use

The system must be used exclusively at tempera-
tures between –10 °C and 45 °C (14 °F and 113 °F).
Prolonged exposure of the system to tempera-
tures exceeding this range may compromise its
functionality.
Excessive exposure to water may cause the
airbag product to function improperly. It is
recommended to use only under a waterproof
protective garment designed for motorised
two-wheeler users. The product is not designed
to be submerged.

3.5 Warnings

WARNING: the use of the IN&MOTION airbag
system outside the recommendations for use
may cause the airbag to function improperly and
can cause injury in case of incident.
The product or its components must not be modi-
fied in any way. Any modification of any kind could
compromise its functionality and therefore its
protective performance in the event of a fall or
accident. Never add decorations, ribbons, stickers
or any other parts to the airbag system.
To ensure full functionality, this product must be
only serviced/repaired by the manufacturer, or an
approved repairer.
Never connect an electric device or an external
battery to the system.
