If the remote control is not recognised, it is advisable to repeat the activation and
authentication procedure; if the locking persists, try again with passive recognition.
If, after performing the activation and authentication procedure, it is not possible to
start the engine, an Authorised Service Centre must be contacted, which has the
electronic equipment required to identify and repair the system.
When requesting additional remote controls, remember that the registration must be
performed for all the controls, including the news ones and those already in your pos-
session. Take the MASTER key and all remote controls directly to an Authorised
Service Centre. The codes of the remote controls not submitted for the new pro-

gramming procedure are deleted from the memory. Any lost remote controls will
therefore not be enabled to start the engine.

EACH REMOTE CONTROL HAS ITS OWN AND UNIQUE CODE, WHICH MUST
BE STORED IN THE SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT MEMORY. SHOULD THE VEHICLE
CHANGE OWNER, IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY THAT THE NEW OWNER
GET POSSESSION OF THE KEYS WITH THE MASTER GRIP (AS WELL AS ALL
OTHER REMOTE CONTROLS).

REMOTE CONTROL. TO ENSURE THE PERFECT EFFICIENCY OF SUCH INTER-

POSED TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT. AVOID DROPPING THE REMOTE CONTROL OR
THE CONTACT WITH WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.
