1.1.2 Display

Given below is a description of the symbols that appear on the display during normal operation.
OFF/STAND-BY (see 1.2.1 on page 7)
Appears when the boiler carries out the "air venting" cycle (see 1.2.2 on page 7)
If the dot on the right is steady, the display shows the heating temperature.
When the heating elements are active, the dot in the middle starts flashing.
If the dot on the right flashes, the display shows the temperature of the storage tank sensor (if present).
When the heating elements are active, the dot in the middle starts flashing.
Activation of frost protection for heating, level 1.
(see 1.2.6 on page 8)
Activation of the anti-legionella function
(see 1.2.11 on page 9)
The heating function is disabled.
(see 1.2.3 on page 7)
The storage tank heating function is disabled.
(see 1.2.4 on page 8)
Heating element status (see 1.2.8 on page 8)
Appears when the Heating and DHW modes are both disabled (see 1.2.3 and 1.2.4)

1.2 OPERATION

1.2.1 Turning On/Off

In off status,
appears in the display area. To turn on the boiler, keep the button
it off, keep
pressed for 5 seconds.

1.2.2 Air venting

After turning on the boiler, the display shows the firmware version for a few seconds.
Subsequently, the boiler starts the venting cycle which is indicated by the symbol "FH". This function takes 5 minutes
during which the circulating pump is activated (5 seconds ON and 5 seconds OFF) and the 3-way valve switches from
heating to DHW with 1-minute intervals.
During the air venting cycle, any heat requests are inhibited. To avoid this function, keep the button
seconds immediately after activation.
This function is performed under the following conditions:
• when the boiler is electrically powered.
• on resetting from error F37, F41, A03.
• when parameter P11 is set to 1.

1.2.3 Heating temperature adjustment

Use the buttons (ref. 3 and 4 of fig. 1 on page 6) to adjust the heating temperature.
The setting range is 30 - 80 °C and the default value is 60 °C.
To disable the heating function (summer mode), change the set point, bringing it below the minimum until the
symbol
appears.
