In order to ensure a trouble-free process, Igema GmbH recommends an annual
replacement of the glass and the seals. Shorter maintenance intervals are recommended in
extreme operating conditions.

OTE
Creation of a maintenance plan
The operator must determine a maintenance plan suitable for the specific application after
evaluating his own operating experience. It should be noted that shorter maintenance
intervals extend the service life of the level gauge.
9.2 Cleaning the gauge / depressurising

• Close the shut-off valves
• Open the drain valve
The gauge is partially emptying.
Figure 2:
• Unscrew the locking screw.
The gauge is emptying completely.
The cleaning has now been completed.
Figure 3:
• Screw in the screw plug
The gauge can be put back into operation.
