STARTING ENGINE
St arting a
Cold
Engine
It
is
recommended that
the
following
procedures
be
followed
when starting
the engine.
1.

Turn
the
fuel
tank
cap
knob
to
"ON"
position.
3.
Tum the
ignition switch
to
"RUN".

rapid
kick stroke.
Perform
the
kick starting until the
engine starts.
If the engine does
not
start by the
above
procedur,

the ignition
switch
to
the "0 FF"
position,
set
the choke
lever
to the
full

position. (choke
lever in
the down
position) and then crank
the
eng ine
several
times with the kick
starter,
holding
the thr,ottl,e
grip turned
fully
inward.
Next,
position the ignition switch
to

RUN

and
the

low
the normal
