valve tappet
clearance
is
measured
between the valve
stem

tappet
adjusting

the intake and

exhaust valves
should
be adjusted
to 0.002
in.
(0.05 mm). To
perfo
rm
the
adjustment, loosen the adjusting screw
lock
nut
and
turn the
adjusting
screw
.
