2. Starting Web Management The Web Smart Ethernet Switch provides a built-in browser interface. You can manage it remotely by having a remote host with Web browser, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari. To save the configuration, you have to click “Save” on the top control bar. “Save” function is equivalent to the execution of the write command. Figure 2-4: Save Configuration 2.3 Discovery through PLANET NMS Controller (NMS-500/NMS-1000V) The GS-2210 Series is the Web Smart Ethernet Switch, which can be centrally monitored by PLANET NMS Controller. - Page 9 It supports PLANET NMS system and NMSViewerPro app networking feature, which, with PLANET's free cloud service, allows users to quickly and easily detect, configure, deploy and manage devices remotely. Users can just scan the NMS agent's (NMS-500/NMS-1000V) QR code with their mobile devices in order to easily monitor and control the remote network via the private cloud.

Recovering Back to Default Configuration IP address has been changed or admin password has been forgotten – To reset the IP address to the default IP address “192.168.0.100” or reset the login password to default value, press the hardware-based reset button on the front panel for about 10 seconds. After the device is rebooted, you can log in the management Web interface within the same subnet of 192.168.0.xx. -
