IMPROPER MAINTENANCE:
The life of the engine depends on the conditions under which it is operated and the care given to it.
The warranty does not cover wear caused by dust, dirt, sand or other abrasive materials that have
entered the engine as a result of improper maintenance. This warranty covers material and manu-
facturing defects only. Therefore, no refunds are given on units whose engines can be assembled.
The warranty also does not cover repairs caused by:
• Using other than original spare parts.
• Controls or devices that make commissioning difficult, cause a reduction in output power and
shorten its life (contact the device manufacturer).
• Untightened carburetors, blocked fuel lines, clogged valves or other defects caused by the use of
dirty or old fuel. Use only clean gasoline and fuel stabilizer.
• Parts that wear or break due to operation with insufficient oil level, using contaminated or incor-
rect oils. Use the oil recommended by the manufacturer.
• Repair or adjustment of related parts or assembly, e.g. gears, remote controls and the like using
non-genuine parts.
• Damage or wear of parts caused by dirt particles that have entered the engine due to improper
maintenance or installation of the air filter or the use of a non-original cleaner or filter coating.
• Parts that are damaged by engine overspeed or overheating, caused by plugging or blocking
of the cooling fins or flywheel space by grass, sawdust or dirt, or damage caused by running the
engine indoors.
• Damage to the engine or engine parts due to excessive vibration caused by loose engine, cutting
blades, loose or unbalanced flywheels, improper attachment to the engine shaft, overspeeding, or
other improper operation.
• Bent or broken crankshaft after pressing on a hard object or over-tensioning V-belts.
• The engine or its part is damaged, e.g. combustion chamber, valves, valve seats, valve actuation
or ignition coil as a result of using the wrong fuel - eg LPG, natural gas, wrong petrol etc.
