• Do not use the battery if it is damaged and fluid is leaking from the battery cells.
• Do not connect the positive pole and negative pole of the battery with any metal objects. The
battery may be short-circuited, causing damage to the battery and possibly causing severe burns
or fire.
• Charge the battery only with the chargers designed for this type of battery.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CHARGER
CAUTION! Do not start the engine while the battery is charging.
CAUTION! Risk of electric shock.
Before each use, check the charger, cable and plug. In case you find any damage, do not use the
charger.
• Read all instructions and warning labels on the charger and battery case.
• Do not expose the charger to rain, snow or moisture. Water ingress into the charger increases the
risk of electric shock.
• To reduce the risk of damage to the plug and cord, disconnect from the outlet by pulling on the
plug, not the cord.
• Make sure the cable is positioned so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or otherwise
damaged or strained.
• Do not use the charger on flammable surfaces (eg paper, textiles, etc.) or surroundings. Heating of
the charger during the charging process may pose a fire hazard.
• Do not place any objects on top of the charger or on any surface that could block the vents and
cause excessive internal heat. Place the charger away from heat sources.
• Do not disassemble the charger. Take it to an authorized service center when service or repair is
required. Improper reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock or fire.
• Keep the charger clean. Contamination may result in an electric shock hazard.
• Do not store or use the tool in places where the temperature may reach or exceed 50 °C (such as
outdoor sheds or metal buildings in summer).
PERSONAL PROTECTION AND FIRST AID
• Work only in places where it is possible to quickly call an ambulance!
Note: we recommend that you always have:
• At your disposal a suitable fire extinguisher (snow, dust, halotron).
• Fully equipped first aid kit, easily accessible for escort and by the attendant.
• A mobile phone or other device to quickly call emergency services.
• Attendant familiar with the principles of first aid.
The attendant must be kept at a safe distance from the workplace so that he can always see you!
• Always follow the principles of first aid in case of injuries.
• If there is a cut, cover the wound with a clean bandage (cloth) and apply firm pressure to stop the
bleeding.
• If the skin is burned, avoid further exposure to the source of the burns.
Cool the damaged areas with a lesser degree of burn with water, preferably around 4-8 °C. Do not
apply ointments, creams or powder to the affected area. The best way is to use a wet compress,
such as a towel. Then put on a sterile cloth and, if necessary, seek medical help.
• If people with circulatory problems are frequently exposed to excessive vibration, they may suffer
injury to their blood vessels or nervous system. Vibrations can cause the following symptoms in the
fingers, hands or wrists: stiffness, itching, pain, numbness, changes in skin color or the skin itself. If
any of these symptoms occur, consult a doctor.
• When an electric shock occurs, the first priority should be the safety and elimination of the risk to
rescuers. The affected person usually remains in contact with electrical equipment (source of injury)
due to muscle spasms caused by electric shock. The traumatic process continues in this case.
Therefore, it is necessary to turn OFF the POWER before using any possible means. Then call an
AMBULANCE or other professional service, then PROVIDE FIRST AID! Ensure a clear airway, check for
breathing, check for pulse, place the casualty on their back, tilt their head back and push out their
lower jaw. If necessary, begin artificial respiration and cardiac massage.
• Do not allow gasoline or oil to come into contact with your skin. Keep gasoline and oil away from
