GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using this product, observe the following safety precautions to avoid the risk of personal
injury or property damage. Also observe the special safety instructions in each chapter.
Where necessary, follow legal guidelines and regulations to prevent
possible accidents at work.
The user is responsible for all damages caused to third parties or their property.
Never use the product if near people, especially children or pets.
TRAINING
All operating personnel must be properly trained in use, operation and adjustment and especially
familiar with the prohibited activities.
• Read the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference in case you are not sure about
the correct operation.
• Never allow use by children or people who are not familiar with these instructions. Local regula-
tions may specify an operator age limit.
• The product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or with a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety or if that person has learned to use the product.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Keep the work area clean and well lit. Dirty and dark areas cause accidents.
• Do not operate in an explosive atmosphere, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or
dust.
The product creates sparks that may ignite the dust or vapors.
• Check the terrain where you will be using the machine and remove any objects that could be
caught, entangled or thrown. (Stones, pieces of glass, nails, wires, toys, sticks, etc.). Operate the
machine only on a safe surface.
• Never use the machine during rain and storms, especially if there is a risk of lightning.
• Do not use on excessively steep slopes to avoid the risk of the machine tipping over.
• Never use the machine on a slippery surface. Keep children and bystanders away when operating
the machine. Distraction can lead to loss of control.

DEVICE-SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Get to know the machine. Read the owner's manual carefully. Learn its uses and limitations, as well
as the specific potential hazards associated with it. Familiarize yourself with the machine's controls
and how to use them. Read the instructions carefully. Familiarize yourself with the controls and
proper use of the equipment.
• Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the machine.
Local regulations may limit the age of the user.
• Note that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards that occur to other people
or their property.
• Comply with national / municipal regulations regarding when the mower can be used (if neces-
sary, contact local authorities).
• Use only spare parts and components that the manufacturer supplies and recommends. The use
of non-original parts may damage the machine and injure the operator.
• Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Any work not specified in this manual MAY ONLY BE
CARRIED OUT BY AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTERS.
