• Regularly check the blade for damage.
• Always ensure that the ventilation openings are kept clear of dirt.
• Check the grass catcher frequently for wear or deterioration.
• Replace worn or damaged safety parts. Use only original spare parts.
• To reduce the risk of fire, keep the engine, muffler, battery compartment and fuel storage area free
of grass, leaves or excessive grease.

CLEANING THE MACHINE

CAUTION! Do not hose down the engine. Water can damage the engine or cause contamination
the fuel system.
1. Allow the engine to cool before cleaning to prevent burns when handling it.
2. After use, clean the outside of the machine, empty the grass catcher and shake it to remove
grass and other debris.
3. After each use, clean the precision device to remove any grass residue or debris.
Regularly remove grass and dirt from the blade. Clean below the deck by tilting the machine so the
spark plug is always up.
4. Clean the surface of the machine and the motor cover with a dry cloth. Clean the hood of the
machine, especially the ventilation holes.
5. Do not let the handles get dirty with oil or grease. Clean the handle with a damp cloth washed in
soapy water.
6. Do not use solvents or gasoline! Doing so may cause irreparable damage to the product. Plastic
parts can be corroded by chemicals.
7. Clean the wheels, accumulated grass can change the cutting height.
8. If any part of the machine is cleaned with water or a damp cloth, etc., it must be completely dry.
The metal parts must then be relubricated against corrosion with a suitable protective oil. Make
sure that water does not leak into the internal parts of the machine.
9. If the machine is connected to a garden hose, it is possible to wash this part with water. After
that, the entire washed part of the machine and the places where the water is sprayed during
cleaning must be completely dried and lubricated against corrosion with a suitable protective oil.
IMPORTANT! Never use washing hoses or harsh cleaning agents for
body or engine cleaning!
10. Potential damage to parts caused by corrosion cannot be assessed as a manufacturing or
material defect.
11. The grass bag can be cleaned with a strong stream of water.
In any case, do not wash with water the parts of the machine that are not intended for this.
12. Always empty the grass catcher and do not leave containers full of grass clippings indoors.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents.
Do not allow debris and dry grass clippings to accumulate on the top of the mower to maintain
maximum levels of machine efficiency and safety.

CONNECTING THE WATER HOSE

After each use, clean the precision device to remove any grass residue or debris.
Wear safety glasses and keep people or animals away when cleaning the machine.
1. Place the machine on a straight hard surface outside.
2. Insert the grass bag.
3. Connect the flexible water hose to the connection to the black deck (fig.30A) and turn on the
water supply.
4. Sit in the seat and engage the parking brake, move the shift lever to neutral (N). Move the blade
deck to minimum level (full down).
5. Start the engine and let the blade spin for a few minutes.
6. Turn off the engine and turn off the water supply.
7. Remove the grass catcher, empty it and rinse it, then place it where it can dry quickly.
To clean the top of the cutting machine:
1. Lower the cutting mechanism completely (position «1»)..
2. Blow a stream of compressed air to remove the grass debris.
