Connect the search head
to the Covermeter.

Switch on the Covermeter

Ensure the instrument is set
to Cover moden.

Zero the Covermeter

Adjust sensitivity -

Locate the reinforcement bar using the sound, the LED
and the display as indicators

The reading of cover is
continuously updated
on
the display in large
digits lf you are satisfied
that the search head is directly over
the
reinforcement bar, record the depth of cover reading
and move
on
to the next
bar.
