- Page 2 Thank you for purchasing the Hyco Maestro air curtain.This over door fan heater is designed for installation above doorways to reduce heat loss from buildings such as shops, restaurants and offices. Please read and understand these instructions before commencing installation and leave them with the user when installation is complete.
- Page 3 • This unit should be installed at least 1.5m from baths, showers, laundries, swimming pools etc. • The heater must be mounted at least 1m away from any combustible materials such as furniture, curtains, bedding etc. • When the unit is first switched on or after a long period unused, a burning smell may occur to dust gathered on the heating element.
- Page 4 Loosen the bolts retaining the bracket inside the heater and remove the bracket from the heater completely. Ensure there are no hidden cables or pipes before commencement of drilling. Choose the final mounting position of the heater. Consider the orientation required for the heater to ensure it will adhere to all previous warnings.
- Page 5 Ensuring a horizontal level, offer up the bracket and mark the mounting holes onto the surface. Drill the marked holes and insert the wall plugs before screwing the bracket firmly to the surface (ensure the bracket is the correct way up as per the diagram).

- Page 7 4. Maintenance Always isolate the appliance from the power supply before commencing any maintenance. Never use abrasive chemicals or materials to clean the unit. Use a vacuum cleaner to clear the inlet and outlet vents of any dust or debris. Thermal protection The heater is fitted with two levels of overheat protection.
- Page 8 This product is guaranteed against faulty materials and manufacture for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Hyco will in its sole discretion replace, repair or refund any faulty unit. Incorrect installation and failure to follow correct operating instructions are excluded.
