eSATA connector or IEEE 1394 connector
To remove or install an eSATA connector or an IEEE 1394 connector in the flex module, do the following:
1. Prepare your computer. See "Preparing your computer" on page 96.
2. Do either of the following:
• Disconnect the eSATA connector cable from the eSATA/SATA connector on the system board.
• Disconnect the IEEE 1394 cable from the IEEE 1394 adapter.
3. Remove the flex module out of the chassis. See "Device in the flex bay" on page 112.
4. Lift the clip

on the rear of the flex module and slide the flex module cover to the rear to remove the
cover.
