Is the mains voltage present in the socket of the SMPS labelled as "B"
in Figure 2.5-1?
Go to question #2
The problem may be in the power switch board [P8206] or any of the
cables that go from the IEC socket to it or from it to the SMPS.
Are 5V, -15V and +15V present in the 6x1 socket of the SMPS that
connects to the motherboard [P8200] via the socket labelled as "S" in
Figure 3.1-2?
Go to question #3
The problem is in the Switched Mode Power Supply. Replace the
component.
Is the unit doing anything at all? Is the LCD or any LED illuminating?
Are the drives making any sound?
Go to section 4.2

Are 3.3V and 2.5V present in test points TP2 and TP3 of the
motherboard [P8200] respectively?
Please contact HHB for help with this fault
If 3.3V is not present at TP2, then DC-DC converter U27 is faulty. If
2.5V is not present at TP3, then DC-DC converter U26 is faulty. If
faulty, replace the component.
Does the boot up sequence go further than just showing the three
consecutive icons at the beginning?
Go to question #2

Does the LCD just show one of the drives?
The drive that is not displayed may be disconnected from the
motherboard. Check both IDE and power cables at both ends.
