6. The "door" of the disc tray and the brackets can be removed from the drive. To
remove the tray, first eject it by pushing the eject lever on the front of the drive
(Figure 2.2-9).

7. Pull the tray fully open and carefully remove the door by unclipping it from the
two retainers on the bottom edge of the tray. Then lift the door free (Figure
2.2-10).
8. To remove the brackets unscrew the four screws on each side ("F" in Figure
2.2-11).
