Squeegee Blade Replacement

Each squeegee blade has 4 usable edges before the
blade needs to be replaced. When an edge becomes
worn, the blade can be rotated front-to-rear or top-to-
bottom to expose a new, fresh edge to the lower-front
position.
1.
Remove the squeegee assembly from the
machine.
2.
Unscrew the 4 thumbscrews that secure the vacuum
housing to the squeegee frame, and remove the
vacuum housing.
3.
Lift the front squeegee blade off the alignment tabs.
4.
As appropriate, either replace the squeegee blade
with new, or rotate the squeegee blade top-to-bottom
or front-to-rear to present a new edge to the floor.
5.
Install the squeegee blade onto the alignment tabs.
Make sure the blade is straight and without ripples.
6.
Reinstall the squeegee frame.
Note: It is best to have the squeegee frame
installed when replacing the main squeegee
blade, because the frame will act as a
straightedge for positioning the squeegee
blade onto the vacuum housing.
7.
Press in on the release tab, and open the latch on the
main squeegee blade strap.
8.
Remove the strap, and remove the squeegee blade.
9.
Inspect and clean the air channels in the vacuum
housing. As necessary, you may remove the channel
inserts for cleaning.
10. As appropriate, either replace the squeegee blade with
new, or rotate the squeegee blade top-to-bottom or front-
to-rear to present a new edge to the floor.
11. Install the squeegee blade onto the alignment tabs.
• Bias the squeegee blade up against the squeegee
frame to ensure the blade is straight and without
ripples.
12. Reinstall the squeegee strap.
